Computer Ram - The Temporary Memory
The computer RAM or memory is considered as one of the most convenient and fastest mode to speed up the computer. Actually computer memory is more important than processor speed. The amount and speed of the computer memory determines that how pleasant and comfortable to use this model and it also confirm that whether the programs in that particular model runs faster and better. Recently every computer manufacturers are in search of ways for manufacturing and designing faster chips, to make the systems’ operation smoother and faster. This desire to produce faster chip lead the manufacturer to use dual core chips and this pattern of chips enhances the memory capacity of the computer. Operating more memory at the same time for the program makes the process smoother and faster, because multiple memories can store more information.
Windows itself is one of the bigger users of memory. Use of more memory means enhancing or improvement in the quality of memory. Computer memory is in fact a very loose term; Random Access Memory (RAM) is main memory.
RAM memory is basically Random Access Memory, which is presumed to be the largest storehouse of memory on the computer, next only to the hard disk. The RAM is easily accessible while compared to the hard disk, and thus used as a temporary store for things which are currently used on the computer. This enables the programs to load information onto the computer memory for using later. So computer ram is for temporary storage of information into the computer.
