Samsung PN50B650 Plasma TV

With the Plasma giant Pioneer out of plasma business industry, just 3 major companies remain- Panasonic, LG and Samsung. While there is some serious competition between them, Samsung has released its new PNB650 plasma television series. The series matches Panasonic’s best plasma models. The models in this series are believed to be superior to any other plasma TV ever made by Samsung themselves. Samsung is using Yahoo Widgets for delivering more picture adjustment techniques. The stiff competition will be helpful for the buyers though, as all the companies try to bring out their best at low prices.

Samsung PN58B650 is available in 2 sizes- 50 inch screen and 58 inch scree. The two have identical specifications with only screen size different. Samsung has designed the TV to perfection. Glossy black dominates the panel and red frames around the edges suit it well. The glass covered stand complements the panel perfectly with a subtle red touch. The UI is same as the previous models’. It also has a transparent red background which looks great.

The 600Hz panels reduce blur by improving motion resolution. The Samsung television also includes a mode to deal with 1080p/24 sources. The screen has 1920×1080 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. 2 speakers with Stereo output have built in SRS TruSurround HD technology support. The TV also has usual connectivity ports like HDMI and USB port.
